Directors and Management Team
Steve has over 34 years experience in the pensions industry and joined Goddard Perry in 1993 when the organisation was known as Michael Kirk & Partners Ltd. Steve previously worked for Scottish Equitable (now Aegon), Scottish Life (Now Royal London) and Hill Samuel.
Steve is the Managing Director of Goddard Perry, and is also the Chairman of HS Administrative Services Ltd and DBC Pension Services Ltd.
Steve has been instrumental in the growth of the Group via both organic development and a number of acquisitions.
Steve has developed a number of divisions within the Group to provide quality advice to both corporate and individual wealth clients.
Steve was one of the founder members of The Master Trust Association and has produced a number of press articles for the Master Trust community in general.

Deputy Managing Director
Andrew joined Goddard Perry in 2005 as Head of Consulting relating to Corporate Pension Consultancy and Secretarial services.
Andrew is now the Deputy Managing Director of Goddard Perry Consulting Ltd, as well as a Director of HS Administrative Services Ltd and DBC Pension Services Ltd, still heading up the Consultancy Services, but also having the day to day responsibility for the delivery of all the other services which Goddard Perry provides for its clients.
Andrew has spent over 30 years in the pensions industry. He advises a number of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on their governance, legislative and regulatory duties.
Previously, Andrew has worked for Mercer, PIFC (now Capita) and Sun Life.

David Pettitt FFA
Scheme Actuary and Head of Actuarial
David joined Goddard Perry in 2010 to set up its actuarial practice. David is the appointed Scheme Actuary on a portfolio of Defined Benefit pension schemes helping trustees to navigate through an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
David has not only advised a variety of UK companies but also spent eight years in Spain and France advising domestic and multinational companies. Prior to joining Goddard Perry, David worked with Towers Perrin, PwC and Cartwright Consulting.
In his spare time David continues to wield a tennis racket and hockey stick with ever-decreasing skill and athleticism.

Yvonne Douglas Assoc CIPD
Yvonne joined Goddard Perry in 2010 and after a period of being Personal Assistant to the Board of Directors is now the Human Resources/Operations Manager.
Yvonne is responsible for the smooth running of the office and ensuring that Goddard Perry continues to be a friendly and exciting place to work.
She is passionate about helping her community and is often involved in fund raising for charities. A keen music lover each year who attends the Soul Network event in Portugal.

Simon S Jones AIFP APFS
Head of Regulated Services
Simon joined Goddard Perry in January 2018 as head of regulated services and has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years. He was previously Head of Corporate at Wren Sterling Ltd after his business Paramount Group was acquired by Wren Sterling (formerly Towergate Financial).
He is keen to create links with other professionals and working seamlessly with clients. Simon is an Associate of both the Institute of Financial Planning and the Professional Finance Society.
A keen tennis player himself, he is currently supporting his teenage daughter Fran Jones who is working her way up the professional tennis rankings.

Head of Pensions Administration
Daniel joined Goddard Perry Consulting in 2014 as Head of Trust Based Pensions Administration. He is responsible for the administration of trust based defined benefit schemes focusing on the implementation of new clients and maintaining strong business relationships with existing clients. He is also involved with the development of our pioneering administration and actuarial platform.
Daniel specialises in the DB Pensions sector and has been in the Financial Services industry since 1994 and has worked for pension providers, employee benefit consultancies, a global asset management company and a leading interdealer broker.
In his spare time Daniel performs at spoken word events, is a keen walker and enjoys travelling. He has recently walked from St Jean Pied de Port, through the Pyrenees to Logrono, completing the first 100 mile stage of the Camino de Santiago.

Employee Benefits Manager
Nicky joined Goddard Perry Consulting in 2019 as Employee Benefits Manager. She is responsible for the managing the administration of the Employee Benefits team.
Nicky has been in the Financial Services industry since 1987 and has worked for a large insurance company, third party pension administration providers and has also worked administering an in-house pension scheme.
In her spare time Nicky enjoys socialising and travelling.

Employee Benefits team
Laurence J. Power Cert CII
Laurence Joined Goddard Perry Consulting in 2016 as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant. He is responsible for the administration and rate reviews on a range of contracts including Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection Insurance, Group Critical Illness Insurance and Private Medical Insurance. He is also involved in some special projects outside of the normal employee benefits.
Laurence specialises in the risk sector and has been in financial services since 1975. He worked for a number of pension providers before becoming an intermediary in 1994. As a former representative at GRID, the group risk benefit forum, Laurence helped set the service standards to which most of the major intermediaries and providers work.
In his spare time Laurence is heavily involved in the equestrian world as well as sailing off the south coast.

Having been in the Financial Services industry for 25 years, Vicki has seen a change in the way Employee Benefits and their perception has changed. Vicki specialises in Flexible Benefits, Group Risk and Healthcare and uses her experience to manage a portfolio of clients.
Throughout her years at Goddard Perry Vicki has been able to build on relationships with providers and clients, use her knowledge to suggest and implement schemes whilst keeping Health and Wellbeing at the forefront, a subject she is passionate about.
Vicki is very family orientated and enjoys being around her grown up children as much as possible as well as travelling to Devon to be with the family she has there.

Employee Benefits Administrator
Having worked in the Financial Service Industry for a number of years, Jackie joined Goddard Perry where she has been able to use her experience within Pensions and Auto-Enrolment to assist many corporate clients.
As part of the team, Jackie has been able to expand her knowledge to incorporate all employee benefits and has learnt a great deal which has enabled her to not only understand her client’s needs but also assist them with building on their current benefit packages. Throughout her journey with Goddard Perry it is evident that understanding our clients is key to building relationship which last.
Jackie is a family orientated person and enjoys spending time with her sisters and extended family, often helping out with various activities which her family are involved in, not to mention looking after her niece and nephew. Jackie is also a foodie, an interest she shares with many of her friends allowing her to try different cuisines.

Account Manager (Employee Benefits)
Bhavana has been in the Financial Industry since 2004. Having started her career working as a Private Medical Insurance Administrator she has grown her knowledge and expertise over years which now includes all Employee Benefits. Bhavana’s role is to work closely with the clients managing their portfolio of benefits which has enabled her to not only increase her knowledge but has also enabled her to build on existing relationships.
As an Account Manager Bhavana has been able to deliver a high level of service often supporting her clients to implement new benefits and even extending their current level of cover of their existing benefits. Bhavana’s focus has always been on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients which has cemented her relationships.
In her spare time Bhavana likes to follow cricket, watch movies and is a keen cook often teaching her son the recipes she has learnt from her own family. She also loves to travel and visits her family in India as often as possible.

Paul has been in financial services for nearly 30 years. For the last 15 of these he has specialised in employee benefits and staff engagement. He has extensive experience in Group Risk, Health, Pensions, Financial Education and Auto Enrolment.
Having recently joined us, Paul hopes to bring his blend of skills to the team in a way which will optimise the relationships between employers and their employees. He is also keen to help with the service development projects which are currently underway.
Paul is married with two daughters. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, walking the family cocker spaniel and gardening.

Sarah Woodfield Chartered ALIBF ACA
After starting her working life as a Chartered Accountant with one of the big 5 firms, Sarah re-trained as an IFA in 2006 and has now also achieved Chartered IFA status. Beyond audit work she was a management accountant in the City and has worked in other finance related roles. Sarah has lived in Italy, Belgium and the USA and gained much experience in different industries and cultures.
She joined Goddard Perry in March 2018 as a Senior Consultant specialising in financial planning. With a strong technical background, Sarah can help clients through the maze of their finances and agree on long term strategies to support their families and businesses throughout their lives and on an intergenerational basis.
She is passionate about better financial education in schools and has brought up her two daughters with an awareness of the importance of financial independence for women. As a family they also support a girl through Plan International. Sarah is a keen cook and loves literature, theatre, opera and film. With a family home in France there is plenty of opportunity to spend time over long meals with family and friends.

Richard Wood APFS FPFS
Richard started his Financial Services career in 1998, and throughout that time, he has been involved in business development, company and private client advisory and private banking. He joined Goddard Perry in 2018 as a Senior Consultant working with both private clients and business owners. He hopes to help them with their varying financial planning needs by giving them peace of mind and clarity. He considers the interaction with clients the most rewarding part of his work. He strives to improve their overall position with regards to their retirement, investment, protection and succession planning needs.
Richard is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. This is the Premier qualification awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute and is the ‘Gold Standard’ for financial advisers.
Richard lived and worked in Hong Kong for several years. Throughout that time, he travelled throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe, helping his clients and gaining an understanding of the local cultures. He still loves travelling but now spends most of his spare time with his young family with the daunting task of parenthood.

Rob Frith DipPFS
Rob joined Goddard Perry Consulting as a Senior Consultant in 2006 (then Michael Kirk & Partners) and has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years. He previously worked for the Heath Lambert Group as an Employee Benefits Consultant having held other pension related roles with them. He has also worked for the Prudential where he held various pensions and finance positions within the Company.
Rob is an Independent Financial Adviser and is passionate about promoting the benefits of financial planning. He specialises in providing retirement planning advice to members of Workplace Pension Schemes and provides financial planning advice to a number of individual private clients.
In his spare time Rob enjoys attending the gym but ideally prefers to keep fit by being outdoors cycling, running or walking.

Craig Nairn DipPFS
Craig joined the company in February 2016, he holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is a Senior Consultant here at Goddard Perry Consulting. He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial service sector, where he has been a Financial Consultant, mentor and Manager.
Craig prides himself on providing quality holistic financial planning advice, to a number of personal clients including high net worth individuals, with a view to building long-term relationships. He specialises in pensions and investments, and has years of experience dealing with workplace and personal pensions, as well as the more complex planning areas such as SIPP, SSAS and helping clients work toward a comfortable and tax-efficient retirement.
Craig is a lifelong fan of Leeds United, England Cricket and Rugby Union.

Hugh Beaumont ACII, DipPFS
Independent Financial Adviser
After graduation from University and a short service commission in the Army, Hugh joined the financial services industry fulfilling various roles from sales, to technical services to management in a large UK insurer. Hugh became Chartered in 1992 and has been an independent financial adviser since 1996.
Hugh’s aim in business life is simple; he helps people to make the most of their financial resources.
Hugh joined Goddard Perry Consulting Ltd in June 2019 following the acquisition of his previous firm, Go IFA Ltd.

Dean Clifford DipPFS
Dean has been in financial services for over 25 years. In the early days he was an insurance adviser with Co-operative Insurance which gave an excellent grounding in client services running his own agency before progressing to area manager and then becoming an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) 13 years ago.
Being an IFA has allowed him to offer his clients the full spectrum of financial services whether it is a mortgage for a first-time buyer, to someone needing retirement planning guidance. She has also been helping people seeking advice through the Government Pension Wise programme, which operates out of my local Citizens Advice Bureau. This is a voluntary service, which he has found very rewarding.
When not working, he enjoys an active social life, which primarily revolves around a local scooter club. He runs the club with a friend, with over 20 members that regularly meet up for a ride-out with other local clubs. Think of Quadrophenia, that’s them!

Joshua Spence DipPFS BSc (Hons)
Joshua has worked in financial services since graduating in 2017 and has since focused on establishing himself as a qualified financial advisor.
As a trainee advisor at Goddard Perry Joshua has spent time across all aspect of the Personal Financial Planning team from administration, para planning, compliance and the advice stage. He has now achieved the diploma in regulated financial planning and is now working towards the advanced diploma.
Outside of Goddard he enjoys travelling abroad and keeping fit with regular football and gym.

Independent Financial Adviser
Martyn joined Goddard Perry Consulting in June 2019 following the acquisition of GO IFA Ltd. He is responsible for continuing to deliver advice to his clients throughout the UK across a broad spectrum of advice areas. Martyn centres his service around his clients and will tailor all his advice to their specific requirements.
Continuing to improve is important to Martyn as he looks to continue his development in the industry and achieve chartered status. He also believes education of clients is a vital part of the financial planning process whilst striving to deliver financial freedom and independence.
In his spare time Martyn is a keen cricketer for his local side Droitwich Spa, he also plays hockey and has recently tried his hand at Crossfit which he trains for in the mornings before work. Away from Sport Martyn enjoys to travel with Australia being a favourite destination.

Thomas joined Goddard Perry Consulting in 2012 as a Senior Pensions Administrator. He is responsible for the administration of trust based defined benefit schemes as well as the support of the actuarial team for these schemes. This involves the programming and development of our pioneering administration and actuarial platform, including the implementation of new schemes.
Thomas has been in the pensions industry since 2007 and has worked with a variety of arrangements. He currently specialises in DB Pensions and has recently transitioned to a role between the administration and actuarial teams as he focuses on the evolution of the combined administration and actuarial system.
In his spare time Thomas is a keen sportsman, playing football and cricket in amateur London leagues. He also enjoys baking and bringing his efforts into the office.

Senior Actuarial Consultant
Andre joined Goddard Perry in 2017 as a Senior Actuarial Consultant to support the Head of Actuarial with his portfolio of Defined Benefit pension schemes. He is responsible for helping to provide actuarial solutions to a variety of client needs and liaising with the administration and consulting teams within Goddard Perry.
Andre is a nearly qualified actuary with a wide range of pensions experience. Prior to joining Goddard Perry, Andre worked at Towers Watson in their Leeds, Lisbon and London practices, as well as the Government Actuarial Department and Capita Employment Benefits.
In his spare time Andre enjoys boxing, playing football and organising fun.
